The annual Bishop's Appeal for Vocations collection, supplies some of the cost of the expenses for our seminarians, our future priests, in their studies, training, and formation for the priesthood.

One of the ways we can help with our vocations is by supporting our annual vocations appeal.  This year our Diocese has 25 seminarians.  On an average year we typically have 45 seminarians.  Seminarians and sisters come from our families, our school and our parish.  In our parish, we are committed to putting more resources to promote vocations on the local level from our parish.  We are setting up our own vocations appeal at All Saints Church to help with fostering vocations and remodel our rental house to make a convent with the goal of having the Marian Sisters permanently living in our parish next year.

Our goal this year is $60,370.  The funds will be used as following:

  • Remodel rental house to make a convent: $50,000
  • Bishop’s Appeal for Vocations Assessment to Diocese: $7,870
  • Marian Sisters quarterly visit to our school: $1,000
  • Retreat and camp scholarships for youth: $1,000
  • Buses for convent & seminary visits: $500
